  • pineapple and sugar cane fields
  • hike and bike trails
  • green rolling hills
  • daily rainbows and paniolo
  • Hawaiian cowboy country

... all merge here, along the cooler slopes of Haleakala. It is Hawaii and Maui at its best with historic plantation towns, wonderful boutiques and galleries, fine restaurants, working farms, beautiful scenery, friendly people and our own "Fourth of July" rodeo and parade.

Our lovely grounds still bear the plantings of trees and shrubs from the 1870's. The estate provides a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your Maui stay, with its secluded 2 acres rich with:

  • Hawaiian fauna
  • tropical fruits
  • flowering trees
  • fragrant blossoms
  • traditional Hawaiian medicinal plants

Stroll the gardens and sample the flavors from our mango, grapefruit, lime, Maui orange, banana, coconut, avocado, papaya or breadfruit trees and even lilikoi and sugar cane grow here on the property. Our lovely treatment cottage or peaceful grounds are both wonderful locations to experience traditional and ancient wellness arts.

"We just spent our first trip to Maui at a lovely bed and breakfast called Haikuleana. We found it on the web and thought it looked nice but when we arrived we were surprised to see how lovely the place really was. It will remind you of old Hawaii. We just loved the old home built around 1860 and it was much larger than I expected ... I recommend this place to anyone traveling to Maui and wanting to see something traditional and away from the crowds of the resorts. A little paradise we found by accident on the internet turned out to be the highlight of our vacation."
