Activities/Attractions: Oceanside, what Northwest Best Places© calls "a tiny seaside resort that defines 'quaint,'" is located 9 miles from Tillamook along the Three Capes Scenic Loop. It's a 2 hour drive from Portland, 1½ hour drive from Salem, and a 5 hour drive from Seattle.
From your living room or deck, enjoy migrating whales, sea lions
at play in the surf, and thousands of birds from the Three Arch
Rocks National Wildlife Refuge, all while keeping an eye on your
kids playing on the beach. Weather permitting, there are
often hang-gliders swooping off the cliffs above or windsurfers and
surfboarders catching the ocean waves. Collect sand dollars or
agates as you walk down the seemingly
endless stretch of beach outside your door. Or, if you want to
explore all the treats and treasures of this scenic and welcoming
area while you're here:
- Hike the spectacularly scenic trail at Cape Lookout State Park,
or hike the trails at
Munson Creek Falls, or Bay Ocean and Netarts Bay spits
- Experience excellent salmon fishing in Tillamook Bay (famous
for its large fall Chinook
salmon) or trout and steelhead fishing in the nearby Trask, Wilson,
Miami, or Kilchis rivers
- Visit the Tillamook County Pioneer Historical Museum, the
Latimer Quilt and Textile

products
- Crab in Tillamook & Netarts Bays
- Take in the Netarts Chowder Feed (May), the Tillamook County

Cheese Festival (the week-end before Labor Day), or the Oceanside Arts Festival (Labor Day
week-end)
- Drive the 22-mile Three Capes Scenic Loop between Cape Meares
and Cape Kiwanda. Stop
to climb to the top of the historic lighthouse on Cape Meares
- Dine at Pirate's Cove in Garabaldi or at such Northwest

General Information: Nestled on the beach in the small residential village of Oceanside, Oregon, this Cottage Vacation Rental has three bedrooms, two baths and is the perfect retreat for long family vacations or romantic get-away weekends. The well-furnished rooms of this enchanting cottage make even first-time visitors feel like they've come home.
This enchanting cottage is privately owned; and our objective is to make your stay very special. We provide you with a clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well-maintained home located in the picturesque residential village of Oceanside, Oregon. The three romantic bedrooms include ocean views and/or a private en suite pedestal sink. The fully-equipped eat-in chef's kitchen includes Jenn-Air range, disposal, dishwasher, microwave, and everything else you could possibly need to indulge any of your cooking whims. Also enjoy:
