Activities/Attractions: Sassafras, where Clarendon Cottages are located, is almost 2,000 feet above sea level in Victoria's magnificent Dandenong Ranges and is only 45 minutes by car from the CBD of Melbourne and just 20 minutes from the internationally renowned wineries in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
Sassafras has always been a popular weekend destination for city dwellers since the area was first settled in 1894. Close to Melbourne, Sassafras village has maintained its original charm, attracting visitors to its:

At the road junction is the Village Green park and adjacent to that is the Sassy Plants nursery. Directly across the road from the nursery is the most recognizable building in Sassafras - the Miss Marples Tea Rooms which are housed in a beautiful two storey English Tudor style house.

General Information: Clarendon's boutique guest accommodation consists of 3 charming cottages in a secluded, peaceful and romantic setting ... two acres of English country gardens and meadow nestle amongst a huge variety of beautiful century old trees. The cottages are within easy walking distance of Sassafras Village and Sherbrooke Forest in Victoria, Australia.
Three cosy 1 and 2 bedroom cottages, each with it's own individual charm, are located separately on the two acre property. Log fires, spas, fully equipped kitchens and private decks are just some of the many features. Country tranquillity gives you a peaceful and relaxed sleep awakening to the sound of the Kookaburras.
The Stables Cottage is a luxury, self contained cottage and Clarendon's latest addition to its guest accommodation with:
