Activities/Attractions: If you want to be near the hustle and bustle of Limassol and all the various activities that occur in the town, our apartments are a great base. Despite all this hustle and bustle, the location of our apartments, in a quiet residential area are indicative of how the Cypriot passes his time, visitors who stay there will experience how the Cypriot enjoys the town. Limassol boasts some great events during the year.

There is a lovely promenade which goes from old Port of Limassol for miles to the end of the town by all the hotels and very popular of an evening. It’s a great place to find locals and visitors alike, summer and winter. If you want a family holiday, there is lots to see and do in Limassol:

• the zoo is about 10 minutes walk from the house
  
• 2 water parks
  
• diving or water sports
  
• horse riding
  
• lots of nightclubs which are about 20-30 minutes walk or a short taxi ride away
  
• hotel facilities are available to the public for a small fee if you want to be pampered at any time
  

Visit at Carnival time (this year it starts on the 23rd February and finishes on the 5th March) and you will see some pretty spectacular floats with some great displays and of course the famous Georgallettos singers, who have been providing music to Limassolians for years.
The wine festival is another treat not to be missed, it takes place at the park on the sea front and usually happens the last few days of August into the first week of September.
Kataklysmos is also held on the sea front, a unique Cypriot celebration, the Festival of the Flood coincides with Pentecost and is marked by festivities at all seaside towns. The Anthestiria Flower festival is also held in Limassol and great fun.
For car enthusiasts we have the Cyprus Rally this year the Cyprus Rally will be from the 22nd – 24th September 2006, it starts at the sea front, at the mollos near the old port.

General Information: The owners of Kontoyiannis also have two great holiday apartments in Limassol, Cyrus just a few minutes walk from the beach with sea view. We used to live in them so we know they are quiet and relaxing to stay in. This is a new holiday rental property and is a great location for city breaks. Flat 2 is on the 2nd floor and Flat 1 on the first floor, both roughly the same size.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and fitted wardrobes. The other bedrooms are large enough to fit two large singles if desired or we can put you up for a child if desired. We have one bed in the bedrooms for now as we think that it is more comfortable. A baby cot is also available on request. The bathroom has a toilet, bidet a full size bath.

Our apartments are just a few minutes walk from the sea and very near Curium roundabout. We have quite a few shops within walking distance, including a large department store on the sea front which has everything you are likely to need, including a lovely cafeteria overlooking the sea.

Our apartments are suitable for family or a group of friends but we are also willing to let it out to couples, just ask us. Want a longer break, why not come and stay for a few months. Enjoy life as lived by the Cypriots in a quiet location. Sit at the veranda with your coffee, the local Zivania or a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Limassol is a busy town next to the sea with sun 11 months of the year so summer and winter visitors are always welcome. The beach is just a short stroll from the apartments, about 500 meters and takes not more than 4 or 5 minutes.
