"If you are looking for a great base from which to explore Sequoia National Park look no further. Tom and Chris provide friendliness and comfort (and even a pair of swimming shorts)!!"

"How could we forget the wonderful time we spent at your hotel you made us feel very welcome. I hope that we are able to return one day to California and see you again ... As for the Sequoia National Park - what a special place - a special memory for me is the redwood forest with its smell! We'll be back! Cheers."

"We visited the Sequoia Motel and I must say that the Schlossins have found a way to make their guests' stay memorable and comfortable. I still have fond memories of my stay there. Our children enjoyed the freedom of the pool and the pretty setting, and I enjoyed my conversations with Chris, and the warmth of our welcome."

"What I especially remember is a very nice Motel with the most unique rooms I ever visited on my 4 Tours to the States. I hope I will be able to make at least one more tour, if so, I sure will be back at the Sequoias and the Sequoia Motel."

"We spent a few great days at the Sequoia motel last autumn. We were too excited to enjoy the "library" in our really comfortable cabin. It was worth it to fly over half of the planet to stay here. Thanks."

"Two wine glasses from Chris on arrival from which to enjoy a gin & tonic by the pool each evening was the icing on the cake."
