"The rooms are wonderful yet rustic feeling, with the warm rugged pine porch, and Victoria screened doors. your private deck all overlooking a gorgeous lake. The room is just as the web displays, sterile is the word, that clean. The dining area just as warm. The owners always smiling. And the coffee just keeps coming. T. L C . in all services."

"The Algonquin Inn was of a high standard. From the warm welcome we received, to the friendly efficient staff in both restaurant and bar. Food was excellent and good value. Bedrooms were of a very high standard, being clean and well appointed. The setting on the banks of Oxtongue Lake was extremely beautiful and we experienced a spectacular Canadian Sunset with magnificent colours. We will most certainly return."

"We are regular visitors here and can honestly say that is a great place to stay, especially if you are intending to spend time in the park. It is the closest spot to the west gate and is right on Highway 60 (good--it is convenient; bad--sometimes there is traffic going by that can be an unwelcome intrusion on the beauty of the location). We love it because it allows us to spend all day in the park hiking and/or canoeing and yet we get to return at the end of each day in the wilderness to a wonderful spot that has very good food and accommodations. Gary and Tina are great hosts and the Inn is very clean and well maintained. We've stayed in several different units (both in the rooms and the suites) and they are all well appointed and very comfortable. It sits right on the Oxtongue and you can get some lovely evening sunsets and if you rise early enough, the ducks and loons will be right outside your door."

"Closer to the park than most hotels. Well maintained, good restaurant, friendly staff."
