"An amazing 40 room mansion that has seen many incarnations - lots of fascinating stories come along with your stay at this charming B&B ... The breakfasts we enjoyed were definitely 5 star. This is a new choice on the B&B menu for Baltimore and they are still upgrading the decor. Our room featured a lovely queen sized antique bed with a comfy new mattress. Shared bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean. In fact, the entire place was neat as a pin and sparkly. Innkeepers are charming and helpful as well. Everything a B&B should be."
"We would like to extend our appreciation for this past weekend. A visit to Baltimore could be very ordinary but thanks to you and your warm hospitality this was an extraordinary visit to a city that we love. This was my first visit to Baltimore since my parents died and it was a sad event for me but your warmth and friendliness changed all that with your magnificent home completing the scene. We hope that this is the first of several visits."
"We had 2 rooms, both of which were spacious and attractively decorated, with comfortable beds. The hosts were friendly and accommodating."
"The cleanest place I have been in since coming to America 2 months ago. I especially enjoyed talking baths in your very clean room."
"A very peaceful home."

"... The home has been meticulously restored and is beautiful and lovingly and personally decorated. The innkeepers were delightful and made us feel right at home. My children were so impressed with the beautiful china and personal attention, that they put on their best company manners for the excellent, heart-healthy breakfasts ... I can't say enough good things about this B&B - it was a highlight of a 3 week road trip!"
"We slept in the Purple room, which had it's own bath, walk-in closet, a brand new mattress and the softest sheets we've slept on since staying at the Oklahoma City Westin. The owner picked us up at Penn Station when our Amtrack train arrived - a feat never offered to me in all the years I have visited B&B's. (We walked to the station the following morning - it is not more than a ten minute walk.) The breakfast was perfect - freshly brewed coffee, cantaloupe with a creamy yogurt sauce and a freshly baked muffin. The home's owners are lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable about Baltimore. The house has been lovingly restored. It is enormous, with nooks and crannies galore - all carefully maintained and spotlessly cleaned! We will be back!"
