Activities/Attractions: The shoreline is the biggest attraction and we're just two-blocks to the beach, right in the middle of the historic (Shoreline Route 1) Boston Post Road that Paul Revere made famous! Now it is the perfect New England experience with:

• restaurants
  
• antique shops and more antique shops
  
• candy shops
  
• historic towns such as Clinton, Madison, Old Saybrook, Guilford (the famous Guilford Fair!!) Westbrook, and Branford
  
• each has a marvelous calendar of events, with band concerts on the greens, (not our green!) craft fairs, antique fairs, autumn fairs with ox-pulls and magic shows, art shows, and festivals galore
  
• Also close by is Mystic with the Mystic Seaport, Old Mystic Village, really old drawbridge, and ice-cream shops galore
  
• Also close by is Hamonnassett State Park with Beaches, walks, and Bar-b-ques, and I would personally recommend the "Book Barn" in Niantic, which is really a book Village, with walks to barns and "Haunted Mystery House", and a dozen out-buildings crammed with fabulous books
  
• Chester is close with marvelous artsy New England shops and restaurants! From Chester is a ferry to Gillette Castle
  

In the winter, each of these towns (as well as our Village) lights up with a magical light display, and the towns offer charming winter events! Also close by are the Mohegan Sun and the Foxwoods Casino.

Like a tiny Village, A Victorian Village Inn offers short and long-term guests cozy gingerbread Cottages near the beach clustered around a 2-acre landscaped green. Delightfully decorated with antiques, the cottages range from studios up to 3 stories with fireplaces and whirlpools!

We are "children and pet-friendly", and welcome your family for your extended-stay, vacation or relocation to Shoreline CT. We're an Inn on the Shoreline historic Boston Post Road with Victorian Gingerbread Cottage-Villas! Each cottage is 'winterized' and insulated for winter and Air-conditioned in summer. Each cottage has its own kitchen, with hand-cut gingerbread and hand-painted cupboards, and is furnished down to the teapot!
