General Information: Welcome to Lakemont Pines Rental in Northern California - where tall cedars, pines and oaks surround our home. We are backed by the Stanislaus National Forest, ready to be explored on foot and mountain bikes. Located south of Lake Tahoe, Lakemont Pines is a fantastic community with a friendly population amid gorgeous landscape. Bear Valley is very close, with great opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and downhill/cross-country skiing.

Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains - 133 miles east of San Francisco and 135 miles west of Lake Tahoe - Calaveras County is filled with natural and historic diversity. Our home, recently remodeled, is situated between Sonora, Angels Camp, Murphy's and Bear Valley, between the gold country and the high Sierras. The 1000 sq. ft. vacation rental is the entire second story of our home overlooking Lakemont Pines, a lake ready for fishing, swimming and row boating. Our non smoking rental, comprised of six (6) rooms, features:

• master bedroom with queen-size bed and Cable TV, VCR
  
• second bedroom has a loft bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top
  
• bathroom with a tub and shower
  
• dining room with a cherry wood table, six chairs, and antique sideboard
  
• full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, stove, and refrigerator
  
• living room has three recliners and a queen size hide-a-bed, also includes cable TV, VCR, stereo, games and magazines
  
• electric fireplace is ready for ambiance
  
• the home is heated and cooled by forced air
  
• a redwood deck surrounding the front is ideal for relaxed barbecuing, eating or watching the many squirrels and birds
