Activities/Attractions: Huntsville is the popular four-season family vacation area in the heart of Muskoka's cottage country... a thriving community of approximately 18,000 residents. The historic Town Centre is surrounded by large rural areas of forest, lakes (the municipality boasts 144 lakes!) and wetlands. With Arrowhead Provincial Park and world-famous Algonquin Provincial Park close by, Huntsville is well known as a nature, recreation and resort destination.
Algonquin Park is Ontario's oldest and largest provincial park. Easily accessible from major centres in eastern Canada and the U.S., the park is a canoeist's, camper's and naturalist's paradise. Covering approximately 8000 square kilometers (3500 square miles) of rugged Canadian Shield country, the park is home to an abundant wildlife population, including moose, wolves and black bears.

General Information: Welcome to Blue Water Acres .. one of Ontario's favourite cottage resorts. The resort is located in Muskoka about 250 km. (160 miles) north of Toronto, Ontario, near Huntsville and Algonquin Park in an area renowned for its spectacular beauty, pristine lakes, and natural wilderness. To those living in Ontario, the area is affectionately referred to as "Cottage Country".
The setting is quiet & peaceful. Cottages are spaced a minimum of 15 meters (50 feet) from each other and most have a good view of the lake. The resort is popular for family vacations, honeymoons, couples, groups, reunions, weddings and meetings. Blue Water Acres is truly an Ontario resorts experience and you'll love our lakeside cottages. Our cottages include use of many recreation facilities designed for every season of the year.
