Amsterdam is unusual in that it has all the advantages of a big city – culture, history, food, entertainment, good transport – with relatively few of the disadvantages: it is physically small, beautiful, relatively quiet, and largely thanks to the canals, has relatively little traffic. Also enjoy:
- Near to "Twiske", one of the biggest recreation areas
in this part of Holland, good for cycling, walking, fishing,
sailing etc.
- Beaches
- Typical Dutch and medieval villages 20-30 min. (by bus/car)

General Information: Welcome to Arrantea Guest House B&B ... located in the northern, tranquil & safest part of Amsterdam, only a few minutes by bus from the very centre of the city, in the most picturesque little street of Amsterdam. Have the best of both worlds and stay in the city of Amsterdam and in a traditional Dutch village at the same time as we are located in the only area of Amsterdam that remained the village it was more then 100 years ago.
