Activities/Attractions: In spring, when the air is filled with the scent of fruit trees in full blossom, take a walk in the countryside and marvel at the innumerable species of orchids and other wild flowers that grow here.
Summer is never too hot to enjoy a bathe in one of Périgord's lakes or ponds, or to go canoeing down shaded streams, or discover a bit of history in the refreshing cool of the region's many caves or castles.
In winter the buildings that make up Périgord's architectural heritage come out from behind their leafy hiding places: with the greatest number of historic sites in France outside Paris, the Dordogne is a tourist's paradise. And as Christmas gets closer, the local country folk are to be seen on the markets selling the fresh truffles, crèpes and foies gras so prized by epicures from all over the world.
Rocamadour is a cliff-hugging medieval village that was built on a limestone cliff rising 490 feet above the Alzou canyon and is one of the most extraordinary settings in France.
Lot is proud of its fine, local produce - from the truffles, to confit of duck & goose, to dark Cahor wines and the goat's cheese of Rocamadour - you won't be disappointed.
General Information: Welcome to Sol Del Pech Accommodations ... at the door of Périgord, in the heart of Quercy, in Lot-Midi Pyrénées, France. Choose from the "gîtes" of La Bergerie and La Forge and L'Orangerie house lodgings.
The "gîtes" of La Bergerie and La Forge are located in a very large barn recently restored and completely independent of one another with very thick walls to preserve from cold and warmth. The furniture is in the style of the land, very comfortable.
La Bergerie, with 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 8, is a 125²m accommodation while La Forge, with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 6, is 100²m. Both offer:
- very large living-room
- cooking-corner
- 2 bath-rooms, one with WC, another one with independent WC
- garden furniture and hammock
- barbecue
- a park of 1 ha with beautiful trees
- washing machine
- micro-wave, oven, fridge with little freezer

L'Orangerie, still on the Sol del Pech property, is for 2 or 3 adults, or 2 adults with one or two kids. It is a small house of 40²m, nicely furnished with:
