Activities/Attractions: Mantova is a beautiful, historic city surrounded on three sides by lakes. It was one of the greatest Renaissance Courts in Europe and home of the wealthy Gonzaga family. The town's center is three spacious and lively piazzas that join together.

Mantua is between Bologna and Parma in the Northern Italian region of Lombardy, not far from the Po River. Besides the old town, with its palaces, its exhibitions and its museums, there are several different itineraries you will be able to discover.

General Information: Welcome to Antica Locanda Matilda Bed and Breakfast ... an ancient manor of about 1700, located in the Mantuan countryside, swathed in greenery, at only 5 km from the centre. The relaxing atmosphere of our manor, where you'll be welcomed with politeness, warmth, friendliness and cordiality, is our visiting card!

Our big rooms with mansard-roof and wooden ceiling, rafters and floors in terracotta tiles, are furnished with typical antiques of our region. Whether you come here for a holiday or a business stay, just for one night or for one full month, we would like to offer you an unforgettable souvenir.
