The picturesque surroundings of Peterborough & the Kawarthas not only offer a great backdrop for your visit but also provide a terrain that is ideal for outdoor activities. The lakes of Peterborough & the Kawarthas are home to many species of fish including walleye, carp, crappy, bass and muskie that make for exciting tournaments and great recreation. Bring your kayak or canoe with you and face a boundless number of routes passing scenic landscapes and historic sites. The area offers great hiking, biking and canoe trails that take you through both the lakeland regions and the more urban centres of the region. When the snow falls many of these trails are transformed into cross-county ski trails that provide a tranquil environment for viewing the local wildlife. For a winter activity that the whole family can enjoy, seize a toboggan and head to one of the many local hills for a fun-filled day!

"Outstanding in every way Gail - the rewarding
product of a tremendous effort on your part and those who assisted.
I am sure you have learned much in the endeavour and I wish you
much deserved success. By the way, your B&B is in the same
league as those 'top of the line' places I saw on a recent
trip to Australia and New Zealand!" |
