"We looked in the phone book for a small B&B that is dog-friendly. Tarpon Flats was our next stop! We had a one bedroom suite with a pull out couch, a full kitchen and a porch. It overlooked a lake, and there are tons of great, free activities to do right on site. It was beautiful, relaxing, and a hugely fun weekend. We love Tarpon Flats!!"
"Tarpon Flats is a great hotel! We stayed three nights and had a great time. The morning breakfast was great, it came right to our door. The docks for our boat were fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel and the service is great. If you are looking for a small quiet getaway, with a beach front, boat dockage, and great service, then I would strongly recommend Tarpon Flats!!!"
"We booked Tarpon Flats after our booking in the Everglades was cancelled after Hurricane Wilma. We did not know what to expect but thought it was heaven ... Carol is wonderful and the venue can't be faulted. We left there to go and stay in Miami for 5 days and spent that time wishing we could go back to where we had come from!"
"And I would love to live there. Tarpon Flats is amazing. I don't even know where to begin. Carol the manager is one of the sweetest nicest people you would ever want to meet. She has probably forgotten more about Key Largo then most people know. She told my wife and I all the places to visit and things to do. I didn't know there was so much to do in the Keys ... I highly recommend Tarpon Flats, to anyone and everyone."
"Tarpon Flats WOW, Usually I wouldn't even think about doing something like this. writing a review, but Tarpon Flats was great. It's built on old fishing camp, but don't go thinking all there is to do is fish, not true. Yes we did fish, and swim and go snorkeling and shop and the list goes on. Carol the manager is a nice woman who really knows the area and can tell you all the hot spots. Just ask her she will be happy to tell you what to see. Cl-y is what I would say about the whole experience. The best testament anyone could give is I canít wait to go back."
General Information: Welcome to Tarpon Flats Inn and Marina ... tucked away amongst towering coconut palm trees and snow white sand beaches of beautiful Key Largo, Florida we are a fly fishing inn, marina, outfitters and conch house in the Florida Keys. Tarpon Flats, once an old fish camp, has been painstakingly restored by the owners and now offers a Florida Keys Bed and Breakfast with modern accommodations, a Caribbean flair and elegance.

"Our room was on the third floor and it was beautiful. Large room, wonderful bed, wood floors, wooden window seats, French doors, lovely kitchenette, very clean and well decorated. There was a small beach, kayaks, hot tub, hammock and nice people. You are just down from John Pennekamp state park. The breakfast is great, fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice, brought to you on a tray ... We will return for a longer stay, try it out, you will not be disappointed!"
"It has been over a year since my husband and I stayed at Tarpon Flats. I still take out our pictures and look at them wishing we were back there, taking' it easy. Thank you for offering such a wonderful, cozy place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan to come back on our 5 year anniversary. This was our honeymoon (taken 2 1/2 years after our wedding) and it was well worth all efforts to make it down there. We enjoyed the sweetheart package on August 26th and 27th of 2004 and we couldn't ask for a better price for a stay in Key Largo. Thanks so much! We will never forget it!"
"When we were looking for hotels around the area, all we could find were overpriced boating resorts or cheesy hotels. Tarpon Flats was perfect. We had a room on the third floor that was beautiful and had a nice view of the water. There was some noise activity in the marina but it didn't last past 10PM. There wasn't a balcony as they do for the second floor rooms but we had the French doors open into the view of the water. The sunrise that morning was a great way to start the way. So was the breakfast that is delivered to your room. Carol was great and so accommodating and helped us book our snorkeling trip."
"My husband and I had a wonderful time at Tarpon Flats. The location is private and the grounds beautiful. We enjoyed laying in the hammock underneath the palm trees and spending time in the new pool. The area does become active with boats and children (marine camp) during the day but by sundown everything is quiet. We stayed in one of the rooms on the third floor - large with a kitchenette. It had a beautiful view of Largo Bay. Carol, the hostess, was friendly and informative. We would recommend this inn to anyone wanting to relax for a few days."
