"The Black Horse is a rebuilt pub/restaurant with a separate development of bungalow rooms a short walk away. They were well appointed and modern, very clean with good amenities for this class of hotel. The restaurant was excellent, in fact it is as well to book in advance as it is extremely popular. Every thing is cooked to order and as they say themselves it is not a fast food place. The staff were friendly and efficient."
"After several hours travel and a day of hassle I really needed a friendly place and somewhere I could switch off before the trials of the next day. The Black Horse was an answer to my prayers ... My room was clean, fresh and well appointed. The area was very beautiful and was a welcome change to the city sprawl I'd left behind the night before ... I would really recommend this hotel."
"The rooms are lovely and clean and overall we had a pleasant stay ... the setting is lovely."
"Great food - quality but not pretentious ... Good accommodation - away from pub so noise not an issue ... Superb staff - very flexible and understanding with our ever changing schedule and young child ... Very convenient for motorway but still in a quiet, pretty village. Will be staying there again."
"Very comfortable peaceful rooms with friendly efficient service from all staff. Will stay here again. Thank you."

"We stayed at The Black Horse In for 4 nights. It was very clean and comfortable, even after long days of touring the countryside. They have live music every Wednesday night, but we didn't hear a note of it in our rooms. Jon, the owner, and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in finding great places to tour. They provided good directions and knew of some "off the beaten path places" to go. The food was delicious. We ate all of our breakfasts and dinners at the Inn and were very happy we did. Jon was there for breakfast every day and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed our stay so much, that when we return to Kent, we will look forward to our stay at The Black Horse Inn."
"What a treat to stay at the Black Horse Inn! After getting ourselves thoroughly lost in the countryside, our hosts 'talked us in' and met us with a warm welcome. Great food, spacious, cabin-like rooms that were very comfortable and spotless, and lots of charm. Highly recommended!"
