Activities/Attractions: Radium Hot Springs is located at the junction of Highway 93 & 95, 143 km (89 mi.) north of Cranbrook. With the Purcell Mountains to the west, and the Rocky Mountains to the east, the village of Radium Hot Springs has a myriad of activities to offer the outdoor enthusiast.

Hiking in the Bugaboos is a popular and challenging activity that has tempted outdoor adventurers for decades. Just 72 km (45 mi.) north of Radium Hot Springs, Bugaboo Provincial Park covers 13, 646 ha (53 sq. mi.) offering numerous hiking trails and over 25 mountain peaks including Bugaboo Spire, Howser Spire, and Flattop Peak, which attract mountaineers from across the globe.

Bring a camera, as you may be lucky enough to spot an elk, moose, or bear. Bird lovers should keep their eyes peeled for Bald and Golden Eagles since both are often seen in the area.

After a taxing day of climbing, give yourself the ultimate treat. Relax and rejuvenate your body in the warm, mineral enriched water of Radium Hot Springs. The water is a naturally heated 44ºC (111ºF) at the source, then filtered and cooled to a welcoming 39º C (102º F) in the pool.
