Activities/Attractions: The island of Lefkada is a part of the Ionian Islands cluster and it is located at the Ionian Sea, above the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia and on the western side of the coastline of the prefecture of Etoloakarnania. Lefkada has a coastline of 117 km and it also has approximately 21.100 inhabitants. Lefkada island is large and fertile and has much to offer to the visitor:

You can visit other local villages by following the eastern coast road that passes through the villages of Ligia, Nikiana, and Nidri, one of the most popular holiday spots on the island. Continuing on the road you will come to Vassiliki and Agios Nikita, picturesque fishing villages. Nearby Karia is known for its traditional embroidery. From Nidri you can take a short ferry ride to Megenassi, Sparti, Maduro, and Scorpios.
