Activities/Attractions: Casa de Oro is approximately thirty-five minutes from the yachters' paradise of Zihuatanejo and twenty minutes from the luxurious resorts of Ixtapa. The quiet village of Troncones feels like a different era. The village is home to about 300 people who farm and fish, as well as a sprinkling of foreigners who have come to Troncones and found the tranquil beauty inescapable. Occasional fiestas, weddings, and other gatherings which provide an authentic Mexican village atmosphere, where all are welcome to join in the festivities.

Another relaxing way to explore the ecology of the ocean and waterways is by taking a kayak tour. Our friend Brian is the perfect educational guide for local wildlife and is excellent at spotting and identifying the rare and common birds in the area, as well as the beautiful local flora. There are also many choices for very interesting day trips to other charming towns full of cultural and historical interests.  Spend a day with world-class surfers riding the waves at their favorite surfing destination Saladita.

General Information: Welcome to Casa De Oro ("house of gold") ... a newly-built luxury oceanfront villa located in lovely Troncones, a small scenic village near the resort towns of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Casa de Oro is considered by many to be the most beautiful beachfront vacation villa in Troncones.

We are proud to announce the  new addition of two private garden view optional bungalow suites, making the Casa de Oro ideal for eight Guests - ten max or four couples if desired. It is not mandatory to rent the suites. Casa De Oro is the luxury rental villa that is truly as perfect as it looks. This is an excellent vacation environment for all ages, including teenagers with no problem for non-Spanish speaking guests.
