Activities/Attractions: Caye Caulker is situated 21 miles northeast of Belize City and 11 miles south of Ambergris Caye and is the second largest of the approximately 200 small islands located off the coast of Belize. From Belize Odyssey Resort you may experience the best of both worlds - the reef and rainforest.
A short boat ride or affordable regional flight will take you to exotic remains of the ancient Maya culture where historical monuments may be viewed, climbed, studied or photographed. Nearby, the beauty of the reef and the sea may also be explored and enjoyed by all. We conduct group excursions or arrange customized trips to virtually any attraction.

"I spent 8 nights at the Belize odyssey resort on Caye Caulker fishing, eating and drinking! Loads of space and one of the largest docks on the island where you can often see Rays, Tarpon, Barracuda and many other fish. My Host Tony Vega couldn't have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble, and he was always on hand to ask questions about where to go to eat and drink. He made the trip even more enjoyable if that is possible ... I'm already planning my return trip for next year!"

Huge private resort grounds, with private beach and dock. Every other hotel in town is very small, with limited facilities - definitely worth a look."
General Information: Welcome to Belize Odyssey Resort and Hotel ... featuring diving, snorkeling and fishing resort & marina on the romantic island of Caye Caulker, Belize next to the Great Belize Barrier Reef. Here you are in a Central American country, headquarters of the Mundo Maya Secretariat in 1998, while at the same time situated on a tropical island in the Western Caribbean Sea, safely protected by the longest living Barrier Reef in the Western Hemisphere.
Caye Caulker is traditionally a fishing village with a population of approximately a thousand residents of mainly Spanish and Maya Indian descent. Our spacious waterfront property spreads over 4 acres. Hotel Rooms are housed in two main two-story buildings of pressure treated and kiln dried lumber to ensure interior coolness while blending in our tropical landscape.

"Its a great hotel. Owner Tony Vega is very nice and will help you get anything you need. The only downside is that the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the town center, but you can call a taxi. Overall, a good hotel."
