"My wife and I just spent 2 days of our honeymoon in the Sonata suite at the Adagio. I truly cannot say enough good things about this inn. The innkeeper, Polly, was attentive and helpful with everything. Her recommendations for dinner and wineries were both excellent. The location is ideal, on a quiet side street close to the center of town. Several top restaurants are within 5 minutes walk, at most, and the main street and shopping is just around the corner ... Breakfasts were excellent, the best we had on our week long trip. The perfect way to start of a day of relaxing sight-seeing, shopping, or tastings. We will most definitely be back, and recommend this inn to everyone!"

"My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at the Adagio Inn last week. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shops and several top restaurants. We stayed in the Prelude room. Spacious with fridge and outdoor jacuzzi for two. Polly's wine and cheese gathering every evening was so much fun that we would lose complete track of time and be scrambling back to the room to get ready for dinner. Polly is a wonderful hostess. She makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Don't think twice about booking a room at the Adagio Inn. We will definitely recommend this inn to our family and friends."

"We stayed in the Prelude suite - with the hot tub. The private deck was wonderful, had the hot tub and a table, chairs, and tea light candles! It was so peaceful and a great way to end the day. The Inn is right in downtown St Helena, which is home to wonderful shops and restaurants. It's kind of in the middle of the valley, so it's easy to plan the wine outings ... I can see why the Adagio has a flawless rating - Polly exceeded our expectations in every way and definitely deserves it's perfect score. Thanks, Polly!"

"My husband and I recently stayed at the Adagio Inn in Napa. We were celebrating our 1st year of parenthood with a weekend away from our daughter. We have stayed at many BnBs both in the states and in Europe and this was by far one of the best experiences. The host, Polly was very gracious and makes the most incredible breakfasts. The home is decorated beautifully and is kept up and very clean. I would highly recommend this BnB to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time in the wine region."

"Polly who serves as the Inn-Keeper and owner does an excellent job at greeting and welcoming her guests. You feel right at home. We were invited to join the guests on the porch for wine and cheese ... Polly started it earlier then usual so we could relax, enjoy and still make our 6pm dinner reservations ... very nice ... If you are looking for a quiet respite in St. Helena ... look no further. Once you have stayed there you will start wondering when you can squeeze some time into your schedule to book again at Adagio Inn."

"The Adagio Inn is everything that people say it is and more. We stayed in the Prelude room that has a hot tub out on a private patio. We really enjoyed that - sipping wine to candlelight while relaxing in the hot tub. The room was beautiful and the bed and linens were luxurious. Polly is an incredible hostess. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning and an awesome wine tasting each afternoon ... If you are looking for a great B&B experience in the Napa Valley, then look no further than the Adagio Inn."

"My wife and I stayed at the Adagio Inn for 4 nights at the end of March. We stayed there once, 3 years ago, and scheduled or latest trip to Napa to coincide with availability at the Adagio Inn. We live in the Boston area, and consider ourselves fairly picky regarding hotels, but we have nothing buy praise for the owner Polly and her bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, the breakfasts are great, and the most enjoyable part is sharing cheese and crackers and wine with Polly and the other guests. Additionally, Polly is very knowledgable about local wineries and restaurants and very helpful in planning activities. We've recommended this place to friends (who have also enjoyed it) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic and very comfortable place from which to explore Napa."

"We stayed with friends @ the Adagio in October 2003, & we are still talking about it. This location is centralized & has many GREAT wineries in a 5 mile radius. Polly is a gracious host, a talented raconteur, a brilliant concierge and a turns out a substantial breakfast ... We are in the process of planning our return trip,& will spend all of it @ the Adagio!"

"This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The hostess is the mostest, and the breakfasts are divine - rooms are luxurious, and, in short, you couldn't ask for a more warming, relaxing place to stay."

"Polly was a warm host. She makes a delicious breakfast every morning and every afternoon she sets out a lovely wine, cheese and snack tray. Our bathroom had an over-size tub that easily accommodated two people. The bed was very comfortable. The inn was located just a few blocks from downtown St. Helena and we walked to dinner almost every night. Our friends stayed here also last year. They liked it so much that they redid their master bedroom to match the room they rented at the Adagio Inn. If you stay at this inn, you won't be disappointed."

"My husband and I brought my brother and his new wife here as part of a wedding present. We had the Concerto and they had the Sonata. The innkeeper is friendly, but allows for your privacy. The furniture is so, so comfortable (we could have stayed in the room all day). Breakfast was sumptuous. We were all exceedingly pleased. It's been a few years, and they still talk about it."

"Even tho its been two yrs since we stayed at the Adagio, I can still recall what truly was a most memorable experience. From the first night to the last day- everything, every detail was memorable. THE FOOD!; unique, original and scrumptious, THE ATMOSPHERE; Slow-paced, quiet, relaxing, soothing and rejuvenating. Morning Coffee on the veranda, breakfast available in the sunny breakfast nook, Evening time wine tastings with wonderful food to accompany. Polly will have some outstanding and hard to find wines for you to sample. The town of St Helena, small-town feel and bustle with Up Town shops and merchandise.. Polly will direct you to some lesser known or best kept secret places and wineries to visit. Polly has thought of everything and she executes it all so gracefully and effortlessly. Will return again - just not soon enough!"

"My wife and I stayed at Adagio Inn in early April and it was excellent! Polly was a gracious and accommodating hostess. The Adagio Inn is very well-located and well-appointed. We highly recommend it!"
