"I wanted to tell you how we enjoyed our evening in your great project & adventure. Wonderful bed!!! Wheeler is blessed to have you two. The flowers, cut glass water tumblers and bottled water, and, oh yes, the peppermint patty - made us feel ever so pampered and special. A BIG THANK YOU!!"
"What a delightful spot. The heart of both of you shines through in the colors, the furniture, the piano, the microwave, fruit, coffee, teas - the very up-to-date bathrooms - the thick, firm yet soft mattresses, the beautiful bed, lamps, table - everything comes together so well - visually and spiritually. I love the way I feel here. I enjoyed sitting by the window this morning watching a nice large fish netted right out in front - the misty fog hanging out in the near distance for a time. I feel 'taken care of,' pampered, special. Ted loved sipping his tea and reading the Sunday morning paper. The fresh fruit and alpine spring water allowed us to stave off hunger and be leisurely. The sheets in the bed were lush, the shower fantastic. Thanks so much."
"Just wanted to again thank you for everything this past weekend. I fell in love with the Old Wheeler Hotel, you, and the characters of Wheeler. The room was exquisite with all the details ... the leather suitcases, the flowers, doilies, bed furnishings, chairs, wardrobe, rugs, the great claw-footed tub, thick towels, bath crystals, and more. The scented candles and treats just completed the picture. I will be back for a longer visit! Wishing you success and fun in your hotel."
"Thank you for a wonderful stay. We felt so comfortable and at home here. Your restoration of this historic old building is appreciated and done with such good taste and an eye for comfort and beauty. We liked the breakfast arrangement; getting up at our own pace, having several choices. The essential oils in the bathroom were wonderful. Evenings it was nice to have beverages in the refrigerator available, as well as snacks. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great - also due to the nice heavy curtains. We'll let our friends know what a great place you've created."
"The Old Wheeler Hotel is the perfect combination of old world charm and modern amenities. It is beautifully appointed, serene, and quiet. During our stay we enjoyed a deep, restful sleep that you just can't get in the city. The next morning I saw a heron on the bay island through the binoculars provided for us to use in the common room. The rates are so reasonable we almost wondered if it was for real! What luck that we found this place and there was a vacancy. There are also kayaks available to rent right across the road, which we will do next time. We will be back, no question. I can't wait!"
"Thank you so much for making us comfortable on our wedding night. Our experience at the 'Old Wheeler Hotel' was more than that, you treated John and I as family! We will see you on our one-year anniversary - Room 1."
"Thank you for the great hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and the 'Jacuzzi room' was wonderful! We hold it up there with a B&B we stayed at in Florence, Italy. You were gracious hosts. I'm sure we'll see you again!"
"I don't normally 'brag' about places I stay at the beach, but I must do so this time. If you are looking for a spectacular place to stay, I HIGHLY recommend this place. They treat you like royalty, and the rates are very reasonable. The location is close to Cannon Beach. There are fun things to do in Wheeler, such as crabbing, watching elk, boating, wine tasting, etc. I've posted pictures of the hotel on the bulletin board by my desk."
"This is a beautiful facility and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really enjoyed lounging in the 'yellow' breakfast room. It was very comfy - as was the bedroom. We came for R & R and got it in the best way in Wheeler (: Thanks so much for sharing your hospitality with us."

"What a wonderfully exciting, meditational, restful, fun, comfortable, and welcoming visit we experienced at your Old Wheeler Hotel. Thank you for having us and for running such a unique hotel! We hope the Old Wheeler is blessed with the business it is worthy of. We will be back."
"We came to stay here because the hotel we had made reservations at had cancelled them in error. After an hour and a half on the phone, we found a room here. What a find! This is a sweet and beautiful place and we will be back. I am in the travel business and will recommend it highly! Thank you!"
"The view! The tub! The morning coffee and little notes every morning! Thanks for taking such good care of us! We'll be back."
"Your hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much. You have something very special there! Thank you for making us feel at home."
"Staying at your B&B was absolutely HEAVENLY! It is beautifully decorated and all the little "extras" made it so comfortable and, well, almost luxurious! We especially enjoyed the candles and newspaper (: We just wanted you to know your efforts are sincerely appreciated. Hope to see you again soon."
"Innkeepers extraordinaire! Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Everything perfect as usual. See you soon."
"Thank you for your expertise, caring environment, and nurturing ambience. Your skills and energy are apparent in every color scheme and combination of decor detail. We chose your most modest room yet felt treated as though we'd selected the priciest suite. Thank you for respite, retreat, and beauty."
"I have enjoyed so much your warm hospitality while at the same time giving me a great deal of privacy - so important to me when I travel and work. Thanks so much for everything."
"Just a note to say Thank You! I will return - I loved the room: huge, fluffy bed, cascading water from the Jacuzzi, the picture window with endless view!"
"Dave and I have returned home to PA. I wanted to thank you for your helpfulness during our stay. Your B&B was one of the highlights of our trip. We so much enjoyed the hotel. It fulfilled my dreams of staying on an 'old west' hotel and town. We will recommend it to anyone visiting that area. Thanks for your warm hospitality."
"Thank you for a delightful experience. Hope you do well with the establishment. We really enjoyed ourselves and the visiting."
"Thank you very much. This is a great place, with a great room, an excellent mattress, and wonderful hosts."
