Activities/Attractions: The Fundy Coast Drive out of Saint John heading east brings you to the town of St. Martins, a charming little village on the Bay of Fundy coast. Settled in 1783 it originally was the site of ship building and shipping. Today it's become a sightseers delight. Some points of interest are:

• miles of unspoiled beaches

• an active harbour with twin covered bridges
  
• the sea caves
  
• Anvil Rock
  
• the salt marshes
  

... just to name a few. Not just one but two covered bridges can be found in St. Martins. Just around the corner from the wharf one bridge takes you up to orange hill and down the scenic back roads. If you enjoy a good hike be sure to check out some of the river trails beautiful scenic falls are along the way.

If you take the other bridge you will find a beautiful beach and the famous caves of St. Martins. Continuing on you come to the entrance of the Fundy Trail. Be prepared to make a lot of stops on the way, the breathe taking views tend to hold you in awe!

Every season is full of wonder, offering a variety of activities. Depending on the season, you can fish, swim, hike, cross-country ski, snowmobile and so much more. Or you may wish to simply sit back, relax and peruse the panoramic ocean view from the deck.

We are recent transplants to the St. Martins area. Previously we lived up the road about 50 kms. in Sussex. We were drawn to St. Martins by its sheer beauty and awe. We decided this was the place to settle and retire. We soon realized we wanted to share this wonderful place with others and as a result, Fundy Sunrise was born.
