The Albyn Townhouse is situated in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh. Surrounded by Georgian and Victorian houses, we are just a mile south-east, 10 minutes from the old Town or 18 minutes walking distance from Princes Street. The location gives an ideal base from which to explore the Capital's galleries, museums, gardens, culture, history, shops, restaurants and bars. For the serious business men!! We are just a 10 minutes walk from the Edinburgh Conference Centre.

General Information: Welcome to The Albyn Townhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland ... offering B&B accommodation in 10 non-smoking & fully en-suite rooms. The Edinburgh Albyn Townhouse is an impressive 4 storey Victorian home, formerly the Saint Oswald Church Manse, and has been a guest house for at least 32 years ... 32 years of care, which have made this house very special, keeping a lot of its original 19th century features.

We are located in a really quiet & beautiful tree lined cul-de-sac, within walking distance of Edinburgh Old town & Edinburgh Castle, as well as Edinburgh’s main attractions. We are located off Bruntsfield road & a minute away from Bruntsfied Park, it is perfectly located if you are looking for tranquility & welcoming surroundings as well as a city centre feel. The Albyn Townhouse is run by ourselves, David & Lydie, you might even catch a glimpse of Maya our adorable basset hound. We offer:

"I quite often travel to Edinburgh for business and pleasure and have stayed in all types of accommodation. It was a recommendation that bought me to this very impressive Victorian house located in a very quiet street in Edinburgh’s Bruntsfield area. The location is great as it offers wonderful little shops and varied restaurants all next to a beautiful park with stunning views of the castle, we even found a small golf course which had its own open championship! You can walk via the park to the city centre in about fifteen minutes but if you don’t fancy that almost all the buses go to the city centre. The house has its own private car park which we found to be invaluable during our stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the service excellent. The owner Lydie was always on hand to offer advice from where to eat to which tour to take which we found very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Albyn to anyone visiting Edinburgh; first class!"
