Activities/Attractions: The village of Les Contamines Montjoie is located in the French Alps, approximately 1.5 hrs from Geneva, Switzerland. Les Contamines is situated ideally for both mountain climbing in the Summer and skiing in the Winter. Its proximity to Chamonix means that access to Italy is easy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel.
Les Contamines is an Alpine gem, a totally unspoilt area which plays host to several world cup ski and boarding events in the winter, yet retaining the charm of a traditional Savoyard farming village. It has always had a reputation for reliability of snow and snow conditions, which are the envy of many of the larger resorts nearby. Combined with the skiing from 1100 to 2487m we reckon that there is something here for everyone.
In the summer months sporting events still play a large part of the rhythm of life with the annual Ladies World Cup Tennis championship in July but cultural activities also feature.

General Information: Welcome to Chalet T Royal ... a luxurious lodge situated in the beautiful and unspoilt French ski resort of Les Contamines Montjoie, just 1 hours transfer from Geneva. Available to hire as a fully catered ski chalet in winter or as a self catered summer retreat. Chalet T Royal is the perfect place for a family skiing holiday as we are very relaxed about having children in the property and have done all we can to ensure that both parents and children will have a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
Newly built in 2006, Chalet T Royal has been fitted out in a traditional Alpine style and to the very highest standard. This 5 bedroomed chalet sleeps groups of 10+ in total comfort. Through years of personal experience we have tried to incorporate many of, what we consider, the essential ingredients of a good Alpine holiday into Chalet T Royal.
