Activities/Attractions: The city of Paris is widely known for its charm, its rich history, and its romance. Its museums are world-famous, its restaurants renowned. Monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and other sights such as the cathedral Notre Dame draw millions of visitors each year.

Our apartment is located on a street called Rue Tiquetonne, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, which is located in the heart of the city. Rue Tiquetonne is in the old quarter, called Montorgueil, about a block from the Etienne Marcel Metro. In this section of the city, the narrow, ancient streets are closed off to auto traffic, giving the district back to the people and creating an ambiance of village life in the very center of Paris.

Rue Tiquetonne alone has 18 restaurants and cafes and rue Montorgueil (the daily market street close by) has 30. This area is adjacent to and only a short walk away from the Forum of Chatelet/Les Halles, the Georges Pompidou National Center of Arts and Culture and the Louvre. A slightly longer stroll will take you into the heart of the Marais district. The apartment is wonderfully located - safe, quiet, yet also in a central spot in one of the most exciting and romantic cities in the world.

"The apartment was great, very, very clean, in the old historic building (wonderful wooden beams cross the ceiling). The location couldn't be better - about a minute walk from Etienne Marcel metro station, about 5 minute walk from Rue Montorgueil where you can buy some of the most delicious things you'll ever taste in your life. Louvre is 10 minutes by walk; Ile de la Cite is just as close. The apartment is perfect ...  if we go to Paris again, this appt. will be the first on our list of possible accommodations."

Situated in the second Arrondisement of Paris, France - an area just steps from the city's main attractions, the apartment is a place to relax and rediscover your joie de vivre, a romantic setting to experience with your partner, and, of course, a home base for your exploration of Paris.

This one bedroom apartment can comfortably sleep 2 people. In addition, there is a queen-sized leather sofa that can convert to a bed if necessary, therefore accommodation up to 4 people. The apartment is available year-round for weekly and monthly holiday and vacation rentals. • There are hardwood floors and Afghan rugs throughout. In addition there is a cozy fireplace
  
• The furniture is brand new and includes a leather couch that folds out into a queen-sized bed, and two matching leather chairs
  
• The dining area very comfortably seats four people and looks out onto the living area and windows with a view of the street below
  
• The updated bathroom has a vanity with a sink basin, mirror and a modern full shower. The toilet is separate for privacy
