"My husband and I recently stayed at the Betsie Bay Inn for a long weekend and enjoyed our time there immensely! It was one of the most relaxing weekends we've had in a long time. We found the ambiance of the inn to be welcoming and calming which was exactly what we were looking for. The owners, Geoff and Lesley Perkins, were gracious and absolutely accommodating to our every need. We loved the convenience of having the dining facilities a few steps away, but more importantly, found the food to be outstanding! We tried almost every appetizer on the menu, with the spinach & artichoke dip being our favorite. And if you love fish ... try their whitefish or salmon! It's healthy and delicious … we'd go back just for that! If you're looking for a great place to stay on the western side of MI, you can't find a better inn than the Betsie Bay!"
"My wife and I were looking for a place for our anniversary, we checked several places online and decided on this one and we were not disappointed. This place has it all for a romantic getaway in a very nice small quiet town. The restaurant has very good food and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again."

"This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway. Frankfort is a very nice, small and quiet beach town. The restaurant has great food and the wine tasting that is included in the room rate was fun. The staff is very friendly and seem to genuinely care about guests enjoying their stay. I would absolutely recommend this place!"
"My wife and I have visited the Betsie Bay Inn now on 2 occasions, once over a February weekend with a group of friends, and then in May, when we just dropped in unexpectedly without reservations. It is way, way above average!!! The west coast of Michigan needs more of this kind of inn where hospitality becomes personal in an atmosphere of warmth, calm and charm ... We also want to comment on the magical atmosphere that the owners, Geoff and Leslie bring as new proprietors - with her roots in Scotland and hospitality, and his in history, poetry, maritime art and craft and fine design and construction. They have created one of Michigan's truely outstanding small inns with a rich personality. This place is off to a great start, and will evolve beautifully by the fact they listen to you and know how to respond. We'll be back for more!"
