Activities/Attractions: The Mogollon Rim is nestled within the Tonto National Forest and offers all the outdoor amenities a person could hope for. Seven majestic mountain lakes, Salt River Lakes, hundreds of miles of trails, and the world's largest stand of ponderosa pine are all found in Rim Country. Towns and attractions found in Rim Country include Payson, Star Valley, Strawberry, Pine, Heber, Overgaard, Christopher Creek, Forest Lakes, Roosevelt, Young, Snowflake, Taylor, Tonto National Forest, Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, Salt River Lakes, Apache Indian Reservation and others.
On site, waiting for you is our children’s playground which includes 2 swing-sets, a slide, and a playhouse. There is basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, 2 tetherball sets, and horseshoes for guests to enjoy. In addition, there is a campfire pit, and several relaxing hammocks in the trees. Available at our office are about 30 games, 30 puzzles, and hundreds of magazines. Because we border the National forest, you can bike, hike or ride your horse directly off of our property for hundreds of miles.
"I was sceptical when you said that you did not have all the bugs that places on a creek or lake have. When we relaxed in your hammocks for a couple hours I was stunned. I did not get a single mosquito bite. I hate mosquitoes and usually they attack me when we go to Christopher Creek. P.S. my husband was like a big child when he found the fossils where you told us to look. I won't tell any friends because we want this to be our secret place to escape to."
"I bagged the trophy bull elk of my dreams. A huge six point rack! I will tell all my friends that this is the place to base their hunt out of. It was great to have such a comfortable bed to sleep in and hot shower while the four of us were hunting. When you get such a good night's sleep you can stomp the woods for hours. If I get drawn again there is no way we will sleep anywhere else."
"Before we came to Strawberry, all of our weekends in the snow in Flagstaff or Pinetop were always cold and windy. It was so much more enjoyable when we did not have the freezing winds while playing in the snow."
"We loved your Sunday through Thursday package. It is a better bargain than we thought. When we did not want to cook, it was just a short walk to the different restaurants to eat at. The Strawberry Lodge's Strawberry Pie IS to-die-for. We drove up on the rim. The views from the Rim Road were truly breath taking. We did not want to go back to Tucson because it is so wonderful here. We will definitely be back again."
"Our kids really had a ball sledding at Cinch-Hook. Ten minutes after we left the snow we were warming our hands around the fireplace. Later we roasted marshmallows outside at the campfire ring. The kids dosed off before eight-o'clock. After that my husband and I cuddled for hours in front of the fire."
"We came up before Christmas to play in the snow. We were stunned when you called up the Forest Service and found that there were still Christmas tree permits available. We cut down a beautiful Spruce tree with our children and took it back home. My husband and I plan to make this an annual family get away. We will come back again next year."
"Night and day difference. We stayed here in 1997 and decided to try it again in 2002 after seeing the improvements on the web. We loved it. We will be back again and again. Keep up the good work."
"We will be back and we will recommend this wonderful place to our friends."
"We really enjoyed this. This was our favorite spot in the States. We could not believe it is so clean and nice for such a low price."
"What a different world from the valley and we got here in less than an hour from our house in Fountain Hills."
"We took your advice and drove to Potato Lake to see more of the fall colors. You were right, it did look like an Arizona Highways photo. The beautiful golden Aspens reflecting off the water seemed surreal. We also loved the views from our cabin's deck while drinking our Irish Coffee. We loved the food at the Randall House Restaurant that you recommended. We will be back."

"What a peaceful, scenic lake. We went to Blue Ridge Reservoir this morning and limited on some really nice Rainbows. One was at least 18 inches. And that’s no fish story. Please don't tell anyone else about this lake. We want to buy one of your cabins so we can come up all the time."
"Great Cabins! I usually stay at the Village At Christopher Creek. But didn't want to spend that much $ this time. Glad I didn't. These are just as nice. In fact, I like the inside of the cabins even better. All the open space from the A-frame is great. When I come back up north, this is the only place I would even consider. Just wish I could have stayed all week. But the little ones need me."
"We spent a week here and found it was a great place to base our Arizona holiday from. We were able to stay in the wonderful cabin and see the Tonto Natural Bridge, Forte Verde, Montezuma's Castle, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. We really enjoyed hiking to the amazing Fossil Springs and swimming in the hot springs pools. The only thing you need is some German Beer."
