Activities/Attractions: We are a licensed dining room and bar with excellent selection of imported wine and beers and great cocktails to choose from. There is also a regular menu featuring seafood, chicken, beef and authentic northern Thai food. The restaurant is air-conditioned and we have been serving the public for over thirty years, consistently at the lowest lobster supper prices on P.E.I.

The Cardigan Lobster Suppers has seating for up to 200 in our new dining room including our two outdoor decks, overlooking the picturesque Cardigan Marina and river. On display is a 40 foot seascape mural showing the shipbuilding era in Cardigan. Three ships built at the "Olde Store" and their history are featured. Large groups welcome by advanced reservations. While visiting us, you can try these:

• Perhaps an invigorating sail down the Cardigan River, taking your turn at the wheel of an authentic 30-foot Island sloop
  
• You can look for eagles, gulls, ospreys, and possibly dolphins and seals
  
• Have a nice Lobster lunch on board, then join your fellow sailors for an hour at The Bistro before firing up the barbecue
  
• Head off to one of several ceilidhs in the area, or a concert nearby
  
• Maybe just a walk along the water by your door, or the trail nearby
  
• Be sure to spend some time at the new Internet Cafe
  
• Feel like another round of golf today? There's two championship 18-hole courses down the road, Brudenell and Dundarave. Beaver Valley is even closer, and The Links at Crowbush, recognized by Golf Digest as one of Canada's top courses, is only twenty minutes from your door
  
• The Confederation trail walking/bicycling is only a minute away

General Information: Welcome to The Waterside Apartments ... offering four two-storey apartment-style housekeeping units on the shores of Cardigan Bay, conveniently located in the heart of Kings County, Eastern Prince Edward Island. We are at the centre of PEI's east coast only 5 minutes from Brudenell and Dundarave and 20 minutes from Crowbush Golf Courses, overlooking the Cardigan Marina on the Point's East Coastal Drive, Route 311.

All apartments are fully-furnished and fully equipped, from linens to barbecues. Why not take that freshly-brewed morning coffee out onto your deck and watch the fishing boats and sailboats coming in and out of the Cardigan Harbour and Marina only a few feet from your door.

Join us for a full day of sailing in eastern P.E.I. Our 30' wooden sloop departs Cardigan at 10 am and returns around 3 p.m. We sail down the beautiful all natural Cardigan River into Cardigan Bay.

Our original 100 year old store, a heritage building, is home to our unique pub with full bar and great music. It is ideal for groups to meet before your supper. This room, features many antiques items from the "Olde Macdonald Store".
