Host: Geoffrey Pimblett
Address: Pimblett's Downtown Toronto B&B, 242 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5A 2G2 Canada
Activities/Attractions: Situated 566 feet above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Ontario (part of the Great Lakes system), Toronto is one of the southernmost cities in Canada. In fact, it has the same latitude as northern California.
Toronto is a city that holds all the wonders of the world in one clean, safe, friendly place: a theatre scene rivalled only by London and New York, more than 100 cultures from across the globe, attractions that range from high art to rowdy family fun, and polished services for business travelers.
"Pimblett's is a fun and eccentric B&B conveniently located to major Toronto venues. The B&B is an eclectic mix of British antiques and memorabilia. Geoffrey, John and Bertie (a docile and lovable Doberman) were terrific hosts, providing referrals and directions to restaurants, shops, and other sight seeing spots, etc. I recommend Pimblett's for those who seek a change from your typical high rise hotel and want to immerse themselves into the fun side of Toronto."
"The owner was friendly and accommodating (we booked only one day in advance) to my husband and myself during our stay - he gave interesting historical facts and useful advice about the area (including dining, attractions and transportation). We found the pets of the B & B to be friendly and calm (very cute to boot). The amenities were outstanding."
"I loved my stay at Pimblett's, and would like to thank Geoffrey for his hospitality and friendliness. I plan on staying here again when I return to Toronto. It's near everything, and one block from the transit lines. The neighborhood is safe, so going back and forth at night was no trouble. Thanks much!"
"We enjoyed our stay at Pimblett's. Geoffrey was a wonderful host, the breakfasts were above average, and we enjoyed the location and the reasonable price. Our room, the Queen Elizabeth Room, was comfortable. We would stay there again."
"A large rambling house with a charming eccentric English innkeeper. HUGE breakfasts. The house was full of antiquities which made the place even more interesting. I would recommend Pimblett's to anyone."
"Kitschy, funky, fun. Wonderful owner and very central to the public transportation. Very gay friendly, as well."

"I was in Toronto for a business trip and found this gem of a bed and breakfast. Geoffrey was very accommodating as I arrived early and a few hours before the check-in time. The room was very clean and cosy. It was a queen sized bedroom with a TV and A DOUBLE JACUZZI TUB!!. I didn't get to use it but on my next trip I will definitely take advantage of it."
"What a treasure, what a find. This is the best kept secret in Toronto. The house was a bit like staying at the British Museum but with great company and friends. If you want downtown, clean rooms, great breakfast and free parking, and friendly people stay at Pimblett's."
"From the moment I stepped through the door of Geoffrey Pimblett's B&B, I felt at home. Colourful Geoffrey and team are perfect hosts, very happy to help out on anything they can. Already looking forward to my next trip to Toronto, where I shall stay at Pimblett's."
