Activities/Attractions: Lacoste is a very picturesque medieval village, well worth seeing, perched on the east end of a mountain spine rising up out of the plains between the Plateau de Vaucluse to the north and the Luberon to the south. The old village sits along the flank of a ridge, facing Bonnieux across the lower farmlands to the east.

Lacoste is typically Provençal, built on a green hill above a wide plain. The village has charming little paved streets and you will pass by beautiful antique houses. You will have difficulty leaving this place - the charm and atmosphere it radiates being so fascinating.

Lacoste is home to the ruined castle of the Marquis de Sade ... now owned by Pierre Cardin, the world-renowned couturier, and each summer it stages open air theatrical and musical events. The village is also home to numerous artists and writers as well as the Lacoste School of Arts.

Being from Provence ourselves, we will be able to guide you in the discovery of exceptionally beautiful spots in Luberon and can recommend good food to discover in the village and the surrounding areas offering Provencal tastes and local specialities. It's with our pleasure that you will begin to discover this area which has been able to retain its authenticity.

General Information: Welcome to Le Clos des Lavandes ... our Bed and Breakfast residence located in the middle of the natural park of Luberon, between Ménerbes and Bonnieux in Provence, France. We are within 500 meters of the village of Lacoste and the Marquis de Sade's castle.

All the rooms are on the  ground-floor and equipped with private entrances, and directly lead out onto their own private terrace fitted with garden furniture. The rooms are spacious (21 m²) and have top of the line bed linen for your comfort. Further features include:
