Activities/Attractions: Around Port Loring Ontario is a string of small and enchanting communities; Bear Valley, Golden Valley, Arnstein, and Loring. Together they share with the visitor a warm sense of community and an image of true country charm.

Port Loring was an important logging centre along the French River water system. Currently, the community is known for its tourism industry, which is focused primarily on camping, deer-hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Why not spend summer vacation with us at Wright Point Resort? We offer fun and games for everyone. Come and enjoy the safe, sandy beach on Wilson Lake.

Fish off one of the docks or go fishing by boat. We supply a keeper trophy for the biggest fish caught each year and your name is added to the master trophy kept in the lounge for all to see.

Go water skiing, paddle boating or play badminton. We boast horseshoe tournaments, volleyball, singsongs and crafts for the kids. Take part in one of our potluck suppers and then enjoy the beautiful sunset overlooking the lake.

During the very colorful fall months, you can combine your fishing adventure with some partridge or duck hunting.

The deer hunting is excellent as we are located in the largest white tail deer population in Ontario. Also, the moose population is enjoying a rapid comeback, so book early to be part of the excitement of the season.

Enjoy stunning autumn scenery and challenging trails as you explore the area on your ATV. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to join us.

We are part of the Cloverleaf Snowmobile Tour that takes day trips to Restoule, Powassan, North Bay, Shoeswap, Britt, Parry Sound, South River and Trout Creek.

You will find us nestled within magnificent scenery, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable holiday. Whether you are looking for fishing, hunting or relaxation, Wright Point Resort is "The Wright place for family vacations".

Enjoy boating 65 kms of the Pickerel River system, which is accessible from your private dock at Wright Point Resort. The waters of Wilson, Pigeon and Duck's Lakes contain both large and small mouth bass, pickerel (walleye), northern pike, trout and various panfish. Our cottages and suites all feature electric heat with thermostat control, combined kitchen living rooms with large picture windows which provide a lovely view of the lake.
