Activities/Attractions: Massa-Carrara is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is named after the two main towns in its territory: Carrara and Massa, its capital. Here, nature has created a perfect harmony between the land and the sea.
The Province of Massa Carrara also offers the Apuan Alps, a magnificent mountain chain which reminds, with its peaks and slopes, the morphology of the Alps in northern Italy. Fantastic mountains, which always, after long walks through the paths and the fields, offers you a fantastic view of the sea. But the province is not only mountains and sea, here the tourist will find a variety of landscapes, different in each season.
The Apuan Alps, famous marble mountains, overlook the sea breaking on the sandy beach, which extends for kilometres. The excellent geographical position and the exceptional variety of the territory make this part of Tuscany as a paradise, the right destination for any type of tourism.
The Licciana Nardi Valley has some really beautiful views, especially around Monti and Apella, where the old tower is a reminder of the medieval settlement and where, in the old part of the town, the birthplace of the Risorgimental martyr Anacarsi Nardi is marked. The old town of Licciana, itself is elegant, with its church as richly decorated as its castle is austere.
Over 100 castles dot the Lunigiana landscape, which is really three valleys cut by rivers. There are abundant hiking trails in the woods and along the ridge tops. Pristine medieval villages are tucked into hillsides. It's a wonderful and compact place to visit ... and the Cinque Terre are only 45 minutes away to the west.
General Information: Welcome to The Agricamping Ulivetta ... a small family-run business located in the geographical area of Lunigiana, in the north of Tuscany only 20 km from the Sea. Our camp gives you the opportunity to stay in your tent or rent one of our igloos, or, for those who love nature, but prefer not having to give up real beds and an own bathroom, there are two mobile homes, perfect to accommodate up to 4 to 6 people each, even in midseason.
Since 2006 we have decided to share our treasures through our Agricamping (or farm-camping), where you can enjoy nature and absolute quiet. Staying at Agricamping L'Ulivetta will allow you to spend a nice time, relaxing and visiting Liguria and Tuscany. Our territory is suitable for trekking on foot, by bike or motorbike and on horseback.
- Services are located in the old
stable, fully restored in respect of its ancient conformation
- The camp is equipped with lamps,
columns for the connection of electricity, water taps and barbeque
- There is also a swimming pool (from
June to September) and a children's playground
- The mobile homes are completely
furnished and provided with dishes and covers
- The camper has to provide himself
for bed & bathroom linens (or rent them)
- The mobile home must be left clean
and in order
- The final cleaning supplement is
obligatory with bookings involving pets
- Tent rentals are to be used within
the camping site of igloos without equipment
- The rental of the 6-people-igloo is
offered for minimum periods of 4 consecutive nights, and with advanced
booking only
- On request and with advanced
booking, it is also possible to rent camping equipment
- Campers are also welcome
