Activities/Attractions: The territory of Massa Lubrense occupies all the final part of the Sorrento Peninsula, with a settlement divided into about thirty hamlets. Much less developed than its cosmopolitan neighbour Sorrento, Massa Lubrense has the beauty and charm of the Amalfi Coast, without the hustle and bustle.
Massa Lubrense, just in front of Capri, is a natural oasis with numberless foot-paths among ancient farmhouses, archaeological areas, Mediterranean bush and indescribable landscapes on enchanting sea and beaches. Relax on the town's sheltered, grey sand beach and you'll be amongst as many locals as holidaymakers. And you'll be able to soak up not only the sun, but plenty of Neapolitan culture too.
Massa Lubrense is an ideal place for a great holiday, with more than 100 km of marked trails in the country side, world famous for its cuisine, and a coastline almost 20 miles long in the middle of the Punta Campanella protected area.
The shores of Massa Lubrense are the closest to Capri (only 3 miles away) and you can reach Positano (13 miles), Amalfi (25 miles), Pompeii (21 miles), Ercolano (28 miles), Vesuvius (30 miles) and obviously Sorrento (3 miles) in less than one hour.

General Information: Welcome to Villa Erca Apartments ... a large Century villa set on the lush hillside of the Sorrentan peninsula facing Capri, on one of the prettiest coastlines of Italy. Within walking distance there is a charming hamlet with a small shop and two good restaurants.
The villa is ten minutes from Massa Lubrense, land of the mythical Ulysses and the Syrens, where history, art, culture and tradition meet. Natural walks through ancient villages, lemon groves, century old olive groves and Mediterranean bush, all set against a background of incomparable views.
