Every inch of this inn is perfectly decorated with many unique touches. My daughter was thrilled to find candy in little places everywhere!" "I loved my stay at the Governor's House and can't wait to go back. It's a beautiful property, lovingly restored by Suzanne, the innkeeper, in a picture-perfect setting. The house is spacious and quiet, the food is delicious and plentiful, and Suzanne provides amazing personal service. I highly recommend staying there on any trip to the area." "We got married at the Governor's House in June, 2008. I can't say enough nice things about the Inn. Suzanne is meticulous. She's also a fabulous cook. The food was wonderful, and the Inn is quite romantic." "Perfect! I’ve stayed in many bed and breakfasts and this one has been by far the most enjoyable. The house itself is great - beautiful, clean, and cozy. But what really makes the place stand out is the hospitality itself. The woman who runs it was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the food was delicious." "What nice bed and breakfast! It was so clean and comfortable and we were pampered with great food, personal attention, and beautiful rooms the whole time. Everything felt very special and luxurious, which is unique for a bed and breakfast! We really enjoyed the host, who was polite, friendly, and attentive and gave us very helpful tips on what to do, see, and eat. I came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I can't wait to return - two thumbs up!" |
