Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame is home to the International Chamber Summer Music Festival, the Festival of the Sound. The Hall of Fame pays tribute to our home-town hockey hero, Bobby Orr. Tranquil Times is a perfect vacation rentals destination right on the lake! Spend your vacation diving, swimming, canoeing, fishing, paddle boating or relaxing on the dock. Enjoy all that summer offers on one of our 2 deck levels - both with full sun exposure for those lazy afternoons.

If you prefer a sandy beach we have that too! A five minute walk brings you to public sandy beach with play equipment and swings. Great for families with little people and those who like it very shallow. There is also a public boat ramp.

There are lots of trails nearby. We are in close proximity to the Seguin Trail - used in the winter by avid snowmobilers. In the summer months those trails are perfect for taking a leisurely hike. The wooded areas around the cottage are full of well treed trails.

General Information: Welcome to Tranquil Times Cottage ... located north east of Parry Sound, Ontario in the heart of vacation country. Tranquil Times Cottage is located on the very private Miller's Lake and our rock bottom shoreline together with our private dock makes for terrific watersports and swimming conditions.

The cottage is built into a rock face, having an upper and lower level at the rear with westerly exposure. Tranquil Times overlooks Miller's Lake a quiet super clean spring-fed lake that feeds into other lakes. Enjoy great fishing, swimming, diving and canoeing and enjoy your vacation with a canoe and paddle boat  - provided for guest use in season.

• Over 2,500 sq. ft. of cottage comfort which accommodates 10 people
  
• Our newly updated rental cottage offers all the comforts of home in a tranquil northern setting
  
• The upper level of the cottage has hardwood flooring throughout
  
• Tranquil Times offers a large fully equipped kitchen, main floor dining room, large main floor living room, main floor reading nook
  
• Entertainment and family room on the lower level, large games room on lower level and an all cedar sauna  on the lower level
  
• For winter enjoyment the lower level has a 44,000 BTU Napoleon gas fireplace in the family room plus heated with a high efficiency gas furnace
  
• Both the living room and the family rooms are furnished in the luxury of leather
  
• We also have two deck levels
  
• The upper deck runs the full 50 ft. length of the cottage and has a dining area which includes BBQ and outdoor patio dining furniture
  
• The lower deck exits from the games room and both decks have tempered glass panels for an unobstructed westerly view of birch lined Miller's Lake and the natural beauty of a northern sunset

$900-2000/week (includes Accommodation, Use of Paddle Boat, Use of Canoe, Dive Raft, Use of Life Jackets, Use of Comforters, Use of Blankets, Upon Departure: Light Housekeeping Services).
