Activities/Attractions: Surrounded by olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti, Siena is one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany. Set on three hills, the city is drawn together by winding alleyways and steep steps, whilst the Piazza del Campo stands at its heart, and the Duomo and St Maria della Scala serve as additional cultural landmarks.

In addition to the bustling daily life of the streets and squares of the city, Siena offers many cultural events, concerts, cinema, theatre and a wide range of sporting activities.

• To the north, is the richness of the Chianti landscape, woven with vines and olive-trees throughout the hills. Here also are beautiful towns like San Gimignano and Monteriggioni with old walls, winding streets and incredible views
  
• South of Siena, the Arbia valley leads to the hill-top town of Montalcino, home to the famous Brunello wine. And the area La Crete stretches out, amazing visitors with its harsh rock formations and unique landscape

General Information: Welcome to Villa Fiorita Bed and Breakfast in Siena, Italy ... where in the mid-90s Lara and Mario decided to make a change to their lives and chose to focus on hospitality. Thus was born the Villa Fiorita B&B in an old Liberty Villa built between 1912 and 1916.

The back of the villa overlooks a large garden with access from Viale Mameli, a very quiet street where customers can easily park their cars. It is only 5 minutes walking distance to the city walls and 7 minutes walking distance to the railway station.

"Everything was perfect. Free parking. A 15 minute walk to Piazza de Campo and a very nice welcoming from the gentlemen who own the place. He was very helpful with tips about the city. Finally the breakfast in the garden was really good and appreciated. Overall a great deal for a nice city."

"I visited Siena with a friend of mine and my sister this summer, during a 3 week-trip through some parts of Italy. We stayed during Il Palio, but had booked 3 nights instead of 4, which made it impossible for us to watch Il Palio. We asked as soon as we arrived if it was possible to rent the room for one more night, and it was not a problem at all! Very nice host, he told us it was no problem and to enjoy Il Palio. I visited Siena with a friend of mine and my sister this summer, during a 3 week-trip through some parts of Italy. "Villa Fiorita is a charming accommodation located just outside one of the city gates of Siena. Parking was easy for us; one just parks on the street. Taking a bus into the old city is easy and cheap and about an 8 minute ride."
