Cape May is America's oldest beach resort and largest Victorian Historic District. Walkers are surrounded by gaily painted houses with gingerbread and mansard roofs, spindles and brackets.

There are miles of pristine beaches for swimming, strolling and sunning. The marina offers boats for excursions, fishing, sailing, and whale watching.

Discover the town by bicycle and by trolley, stopping to enjoy the historic house tours, to browse for antiques and to shop on our picturesque main street. An active day in Cape May can include tennis and golf with great restaurant dining in the evening and dancing into the night.

"The owners make this place; Elan and Susie are great! Not only did they have a wonderful breakfast, different and unique all four days, but they offer afternoon tea, with equally delicious goodies, especially after a hard day at the beach. Both the owners sit and talk with you, making one feel very comfortable. The location is also to be noted, the proximity to the beach and town is ideal and so safe. I had a great time. Would definitely stay there again."

"Elan, the gourmet cook and preservationist, had volumes of information to share about the architectural history of the area. His wife, Susan, was always accommodating to our needs and even went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Each room was uniquely decorated and had a detailed description about its furniture & design. Our favorite was the "Empire Room" with its light Greek classical motif and super high sleigh bed. If you're looking for authenticity - this is the place. Having written two books on Victorian living, these innkeepers know how to run a great place."

"We've stayed in a number of B& B'S in Cape May and we truly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Turkish Suite which was quite comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. The hosts, Susie and Elan were hospitable, friendly and attentive. Would stay here anytime."

"Everything has been restored to perfection and the service is great. The breakfast and afternoon tea is so very good. Waking up to the smell of home made food never felt so good. The owners were great and the company there was very nice. We would all sit on the porch and talk about our day. Also, it was near everything Cape May has to offer."

"Leith Hall is clean, close to almost everything, and is run won by wonderfully nice and caring people. It was a great weekend getaway!"
