Activities/Attractions: Foiano della Chiana is located in the south of Arezzo province, on the border with the province of Siena. It is a small agricultural town, with some light industries, near the Chiana plain.

Arezzo is set in the south-east of Tuscany, in the middle of four valleys which radiate off from the town: the Val Tiberina , Casentino, Valdarno and Valdichiana. The artistic city itinerary includes highly interesting elements with extremely original characteristics, the Antique Furniture Exhibition that takes place the first week end of every month.

Apart from Valtiberina with its works of art, pastures and woodland, the area also offers splendid landscapes where you can find famous monastic settlements, completely surrounded by century-old trees and numerous Romanesque parishes. 

Villa Portoverde is located 1 km from Foiano della Chiana, an ancient Etruscan center in the Province of Arezzo, where tourists can find shops and services of every kind. Foiano is at the heart of the Chiana Valley, home of the great "Chiana Cows", exported around the world for the quality of their meat. General Information: Welcome to Villa Portoverde in Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy ... where we offer you a relaxing vacation in complete contact with nature and the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, characterized by the green hills, the sublime wine and excellent cuisine.

The Villa is accessed through two gates and is surrounded by an ample garden of 5.000 square meters, entirely fenced by great and original Tuscan "Cotto" pitchers, secular trees, cast iron benches and lamp-posts. The open space can be used for weddings or events with installation of foldable gazebos. The Villa has been built in 1925 and enlarged in 1999, during which was performed a careful restoration. Today, Villa Portoverde has:

• 3 wide living-rooms

• 8 bedrooms - all with air conditioning
  
• 8 bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi)
  
• a beautiful swimming pool with Roman staircase
  
• the original wood and bricks porch
  
• a large whirlpool tub beside the pool with a heater, ozonator, waterfall and 32 jets. The heater allows to use the bathtub also during low and middle seasons
  
• in the garden there is a beautiful beaten iron gazebo with mosaic table and wood chairs
  

The Ground Floor offers a main entrance with porch, wide living-room divisible by flowing doors, furnished in travertine and walnut-tree wood, sitting room with stuffed sofas (one sofa-bed) and TV, living room with stylish seats and couch, satellite TV, VCR, DVD and cast-iron and brass heater, rustic kitchen with covering in ancient look-like marble, dish-washer, cast-iron oven and plate, refrigerator with freezer, showcase and an enlargeable table, porch with wood chairs, a bathroom with shower and laundry-bathroom with a washing machine, all with ancient  marble coverings. The sleeping zone is accessed by two staircases in "Pietra Serena", and offers 4 double rooms.

• The first (bigger) providing TV, DVD, wall-safe, jacuzzi, panning terrace equipped with wood table, chairs and deck-chairs, bath with Carrara marble covering and floor, balcony with beautiful sight of the swimming pool
  
• The second providing TV, bath with ancient marble coverings and a beautiful shower. Both rooms have ancient beaten iron beds and furniture of value
  
• The third providing TV, an added single bed, an added single sofa-bed, precious antique-trade furniture and a terrace equipped with wood table, chairs and deck-chairs
  
• The fourth providing TV, liberty-style furniture, a bath with Bisazza mosaic covering, a cast iron tub and an original ancient double sink, drawn in a single piece of marble of Carrara. The plan provides also a wall safe and TV
