A gateway to 13 area wineries, you can take a stroll down the vineyards, or feel the lake breeze along country roads brimming with the areas finest produce. Visit one or all, of our Festivals and Events. Each will be sure to capture your every sense. Something for everyone!

Along with rest and relaxation there are so many things to do in Amherstburg and the surrounding area of Essex County.  RiverBeds is within walking distance of Fort Malden Historic Park which hosts many events on their beautiful grounds, including Art by the River in August and the International Shores of Erie Wine Festival which takes place in September.

You can take a leisurely walk to the downtown area and enjoy a variety of fine dining establishments and great shopping.  Stop in at the Waterfront Café for an ice cream cone and stroll along the riverfront at the stunning Navy Yard Park.

"What an experience and what a beautiful home. The decor was second to none, the bed was extremely comfortable, the ensuite was well appointed with a walk in shower, walk in closet and anything I needed in the way of toiletries was there. The sitting room had a large balcony overlooking the pool and deck, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning complete with newspaper. The deck overlooked the Detroit river and there I spent time each morning viewing the ships with my binoculars whilst they navigated the river. The view to the right was exceptional. To the left, Bob-lo island could be seen, including the beautiful homes built on what once was an amusement park. The hostess, Karen, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rocco and Karen bade me goodbye the morning I left. All in all I highly recommend the Riverbeds for a stay, whether it be to relax or visit the area. From arrival to departure two words sum it up - Absolutely excellent. I will return."

"Really enjoyed the night we spent in the master suite. The view was beautiful, other guests were delightful, breakfast on the deck was delicious, and room accommodations were excellent. We're happy to recommend this location to anyone."

"Thank you for a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming stay ... I didn't want to get out of bed (although the scent of breakfast did help pull me up!) We'll be sure to recommend this BB to all our friends!"

"This has been a wonderful find. The hospitality and food were great and we even were treated to some homemade gnocchi that Rocco was making for his daughter. We were able to sit out on the deck and watch freighters in the channel as an added bonus."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverbeds on Sept. 11/10. We were in A'burg with family to attend the "Erie Shores wine festival" weekend. Riverbeds is a beautiful, relaxing home with pretty much everything a person could desire. The view of the water from the huge deck is spectacular and breakfast next morning was delicious. Karen and Rocco made us feel very welcome in their gorgeous home. We have already booked for next year!"

"We were so happy to find your place! Everything is perfect in spite of the rain. Your house is so beautiful, cozy and comfortable. We can't say enough about the delicious breakfast. Your hospitality was most appreciated. Best of luck in your continued adventure with the B & B and blessings to you."

"My husband, Bill, spent 4 nights in August. He has raved about everything since be came home. He will be back, but not on his own, I simply must avail myself of the wonderful hospitality. Thank you for making him feel right at home. He had a wonderful visit."

"My sister and I stayed at the Riverbeds and were overjoyed with our experience. The whole house is outstanding. From the comfy King size bed to the excellent breakfast ... one would think that would be enough! No so ... we enjoyed the deck and pool and fantastic view of the river. There is a lot do in the area and I recommend the Riverbeds as the place to stay. Hoping to return next year for sure ... if we can get in! Once the word is out ... this place will be booked solid. Thank you Karen and Rocco for your great hospitality."

"After being ill, my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to retreat and relax. I searched online and found RiverBeds. We hoped that it would be as beautiful as the pictures online. We were so pleased to find it was all that and so much more! Karen's home is spacious, warm and inviting. We loved the pool and especially the very tasty breakfast the next morning--it was so perfect eating overlooking the river. We loved it so much we are even thinking of having our wedding here so that our close friends and family can experience the warm relaxing feel. Just superb!"
