Activities/Attractions: Dunbar is the eastern most of the Burghs of East Lothian. It lies on the coast at the mouth of the Firth of Forth and the fine arable lands of the Lothian plains. An area often referred to as the "Garden of Scotland".

Dunbar is renowned for its high sunshine record, rugged coastline and attractive countryside. It is easy to reach by road; situated halfway between Edinburgh and Berwick on Tweed on the main A1; makes visiting the town very accessible. The Intercity rail line between Edinburgh and London passes through the town. Edinburgh International airport at Edinburgh is just an hours' drive away.

Dunbar Harbour is an historic place to visit. The old Castle, 17th century buildings and fishing boats make a timeless historic scene. Dunbar is the place to visit is you are interested in golf, fishing, sailing or bird watching; making it an excellent holiday destination.

"Stayed in this hotel with my wife and two grandchildren. Had a great time, well looked after ,very pleasant clean room and good food. The reception staff organised us taxis and let us have use of a laptop (free of charge) to check emails. Breakfast was well worth getting up for. Dunbar is a lovely place."

General Information: Welcome to The Rossborough Hotel located in Dunbar on the East Coast of Scotland ... an area generally regarded as Edinburgh's seaside - a place where farmland, small harbours, beaches and rolling fairways create beautiful scenery. The Rossborough Hotel is perfectly situated for conferencing outside Edinburgh. Located off the Edinburgh Bypass and the A1 heading South. There is ample free parking for all delegates. For those travelling by public transport the railway station is a short walk and a bus stop is located on Queens Road near the hotel.

The hotel is owned and run by the Rossborough Family, helped by a very professional and friendly staff. The largest hotel in Dunbar, established in 1902.
