Nearby Attractions: Searsport, a small coastal town, is centrally located on mid-coast Maine. Large ships frequently moor behind our Inn as this is both a fishing town and an active seaport. It is quite a sight to see a ship all lighted at night, reflecting in the water- awaiting the tug boats to escort it to the pier, or watching lobster boats checking their traps.

"Still enjoying those bog berries (beans). My pine pillow looks and smells great in our 'guest room'. We sent some folks your way - hope they made it. Just wanted to thank you for your kindness and hospitality - miss your buckwheat cakes and peach pansy juice. You both made our trip to Maine memorable!"

"Nan ... just want to thank you for making our "honeymoon" at Watchtide by the Sea a wonderful memory. Your bed and breakfast was delightful. So many wonderful things to see in every room. So very charming. I especially loved the sunporch and the delicious breakfasts you prepared and taking the time to make it so special. Our bedroom in the General Knox suite was gorgeous. I don't think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed with such wonderful pillows. And that down comforter....was to die for. Your little touches made it all the more lovely."
