Kailua is first and foremost a beach community. In fact, the steady onshore trade winds makes Kailua Beach one of the world's pre eminent windsurfing destinations. Kailua Beach Park, often voted as the "Best Beach in the World", is a wonderful place to enjoy swimming and other recreational activities. The beach is stunningly beautiful and is perfect for photo shooting and honeymoon. This premier beach is 2 miles long covered with white sand. Kailua is a self-sufficient town with a strong sense of community. Christmas and Fourth of July parades are held here every year. There are Little League games, block parties and canoe paddling events. For its residents, Kailua represents the good life. Lois also operates another Ocean View Home in Kailua, Hawaii. This is a very clean newer home with beautiful ocean and mountain views. You can relax in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, with nice neighbors. I personally enjoyed having high speed internet to keep on my volunteer role in our local soccer club SurDel Girls Soccer. My wife enjoyed the Lanai and actually got to finish three books! Hope to drop in again in the future Lois!" "Thanks for the great place to stay. We had a wonderful time catching up with long time friends. We relaxed, ate great food and enjoyed the U2 concert in Honolulu. We loved Lucy's Bar & Grill, Roy's (A bit south of here and try Pinky's Pupu Bar on Tuesdays if you have the family. Lois, thank you for your hospitality and concern for our stay." |
"This house was VERY clean, spacious, comfortable and was convenient to town, the beach and all major roads. The neighborhood was quiet and very family oriented. Our family was comfortable and would certainly stay here again in the future." "We are 2
couples and "mama Murielle" and the stay here was comfortable
and conducive to all kinds of fun besides our more serious purpose. Great
Decor! Comfortable beds, pretty garden, well appointed kitchen also.

The master bedroom bed was the best we've ever slept on! The children had plenty of room and especially enjoyed the closed in porch. It's always great to stay with in walking distance of the beach - though we did get out to bellows on the weekends." "We just returned home from a wonderful week in Hula house where we celebrated our first granddaughter's birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and all its amenities. We loved the openness, gentle breezes, beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds, and all the provided furnishings. We especially enjoyed the Plumeria tree, the Bougainvillea, the Mango tree, and vine covered barbecue patio. Thank you for a most memorable Hawaiian stay. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely." "We had an amazing time this week. Our "home" was one of the best parts about our trip. This house and Island are truly paradise. We loved the short stroll down the street to watch the sunrise in the morning. We are from Seattle, so the warm sunny weather was a nice welcome. We are the Wilson family, and we feel very fortunate to have had such a beautiful vacation." "The Hula House has been greatly enjoyed this past week. We have loved the open windows and the lanai. The facilities are comfortable and were great with and for our grandchildren." |
