Nearby Attractions: Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour: The largest of Fremantle's three small harbours houses the Fremantle professional fishing fleet and services. The north end of the harbour is given over to restaurants which mainly specialise in fresh seafood. Fremantle markets - situated in the centre of Fremantle, the markets open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and are a treasure trove for visitors and locals alike, offering fresh fruit & vegetables, breads, cheeses, arts & crafts, handmade soaps, sheepskin products, jewelry and a bar with local performers. Only a stone's throw away is the new Fremantle Maritime Museum, which opened on 30th November, 2002. It has been built on the west end of Victoria Quay and has stunning views both east up the harbour and west out to Rottnest. On the other side of the city is the Fremantle Art Centre and gift shop. You will find exhibitions of local artists and if you stay long enough there may be time to join in one of the many craft courses that are offered. The gift shop sells local craft, ranging from hand-turned wooden bowls, pottery, jewelry and home-spun woollen scarves. The famous cappuccino strip offers a large selection of cafes and restaurants and on a summer's evening there is nothing more pleasant than sitting out on the pavement watching the world go by while enjoying a bowl of freshly made pasta or simply a cappuccino. |

General Information: Welcome to Mole End Cottage in Fremantle, Western Australia ... this fully restored 104 year old cottage is situated in a quiet street, only five minutes walk from South Beach and a 10 minute free CAT bus ride to the centre of the city of Fremantle. The house is serviced weekly during your stay, with linen and towels being laundered. The two bedrooms have queen sized beds. In addition there is a study/bedroom, with a convertible lounge, which can be closed off from the main sitting room. This room has a desk and a second phone plug should you wish to connect your computer to the internet. The bathroom has a shower/bath, and double basins with a separate internal toilet. On the northern outside wall there is a hot and cold shower to use after a swim at the beach.
