"My girlfriend and I spent a nice weekend at the Mayhurst. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area. The B&B is very clean, quite romantic and quiet. It is located in a very nice historic home. Breakfast both days was very good, plenty of great food, fresh baked goods and coffee. We stayed in the Piedmont Suite which is a little romantic room on the top floor. It was very quiet with a fireplace and sitting room."
"Our stay at the Mayhurst Inn was wonderful. The Generals Room was perfect for us. The owners were so gracious. Wine and cheese in the evenings was great and the breakfast was fabulous. They made homemade hot chocolate for us! In warmer weather you can enjoy breakfast on the back porch or courtyard which were both charming. The house was in excellent condition -- they did a great job renovating it 8 years ago. I'd highly recommend this B&B to anyone."
"Southern Charm at its best. Your hospitality, warmth and graciousness are both refreshing and comforting. We look forward to returning."
