Activities/Attractions: Blue Hill, Maine, a place to relax, a place to vacation. Visit a quiet & scenic place on the coast where you can sail, cruise or kayak past the lighthouses of Penobscot Bay, shop for antiques, sample food & cooking from local farmer's & fishermen or attend a chamber music concert.

Then return to a bed & breakfast of distinction called the Blue Hill Inn, where hors d'oeuvres & wine (Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence) are served by the fireplace & whose priority is individualized guest attention.

Maine is known as Vacation Land and each year the Innkeepers search for activities which offer guests a special touch of Maine experience. Blue Hill is convenient for exploring the small coastal villages and coastline of the secluded and beautiful Blue Hill peninsula or for day-tripping to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Camden, or Downeast Maine.

Hiking, biking, boating, sightseeing, concerts, galleries, antiquing, lighthouses, and island exploring are area activities. Help with day planning is a speciality of the Inn and available to all guests during and before their stay.

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cape house. Apart from its obvious charm tasteful appointments, and delightful deck the Cape House provided us with a perfect venue to gather the entire family (all 3 generations) for fun and reminiscing. Indeed, we could not have selected a more suitable location to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Our thanks and compliments to our hosts Mary and Don, who not only facilitated all aspects of planning, and have been a source of knowledge regarding the area, activities, dinner arrangements, etc. Not to mention a source of friendliness, charm and elegant grace."

"Blue Hill is the kind of coastal village - scenic and secluded, yet with fine cuisine and culture to spare - that travelers dream of finding when they come to Maine. And the Blue Hill Inn is the kind of classic New England hostelry they hope to discover once they arrive."
