General Information: The Gate House Inn is a beautiful Historic Jackson, California mansion set amidst an area of landscaped lawns and gardens and surrounded by quiet and serene countryside. Go back in time as you read by imported Italian marble fireplaces or sit in the expansive porches watching for deer or wild turkeys as was done in years gone by. Sun yourself by the large secluded pool or rest in a beautiful Victorian bedroom, each with its own history, or seclude yourself in the privately romantic Summer Cottage (year-round), complete with jacuzzi for two. A regal Victorian mansion set amidst an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens features a large pool and patio area, screened game room (ping-pong & darts), and a secluded romantic cottage which has a gas fired wood-stove and a double jacuzzi.
