"If you have a sense of humor, and enjoy down home comforts, with a unique twist, this is a fun place to stay. Arts and crafts style furnishings are enlivened with Nila's whimsical collection of pig-related knick knacks. A lively and hands on host, who likes to bring guests together, Nila treated us to a heavenly breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, and homemade quiche, which we shared with a couple from Oklahoma City. Right across the street is the local co-op grocery store where you can buy organic tangelos and bulk pistachios and lavender bath salts. Next door is a wonderful vegetarian restaurant, The Red Avocado. Only a few blocks further are the lively streets of downtown: art galleries and restaurants and bead markets, with a movie theatre in the process of being restored. Or you can sit quietly out in the garden and read a book and watch the magnolia blossoms drop and cardinals flit from branch to branch. Either way, you'll feel right at home."
