Activities/Attractions: Kettering is a small fishing town 25km south of Hobart. Its is a haven for yachtsmen that explore the wonderful waterways of the D'entrecasteaux Channel. It is the port where a vehicular ferry leaves for the beautiful and historic Bruny Island.

Kettering is situated in a bay known as Little Oyster Cove and to the north is another bay known as Oyster Cove. These two places play a profound part in Tasmania's history.
