Browse in our local Antique & Old Wares Shop at Wallendbeen. Visit our local unique Yandilla Mustard Seed Oil Enterprise at Wallendbeen and have lunch or tea in Kaye's new Tea-house. Enjoy our library with many historical and geographic books and biographies. Read and/or purchase the book that I have written on early Australian history and geography. It is a biography of my grandparents who pioneered the Overland Telegraph Line. The 3rd edition is still available. Admire my paintings in the gallery, or just sit on the deck or in the gazebo, rest, watch the birds and enjoy the lovely rural surroundings. Springtime is particularly lovely with cereal crops, all around us. Autumn is pretty with red leaves all around and lots of farming going on. In May you will see many new-born lambs in the fields. General Information: Colleen and Old Sil's Farmhouse in Corang (Wallendbeen - near Canberra) New South Wales, Australia is an air-conditioned homestead and set in extensive bird filled gardens with expansive lawns and flower gardens. It has spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, including an in-ground salt water swimming pool, barbeque area with large hooded barbeque under a shady pergola, gazebo and a tennis court. We are surrounded by sheep and cattle studs and picturesque, undulating pastoral scenery. There is usually a friendly horse or two in the house paddock and always two sheep dogs, one cat and cocky as well as our pet sheep "Mama", who escaped and missed the last muster! You will enjoy walking under the stars in the evening when the sky is brilliant. There is nearly always a cool breeze at night and the quietness will amaze you.
